Yes. We built KōR for people exactly like you. There’s no beginner class because every class welcomes beginners. The teacher will guide you through everything – pose by pose, breath by breath. Just walk in. We’ll handle the rest.

No. That’s the most common misconception about yoga… physically, mentally and intellectually. (Bonus perks: You also get strong, clear and present.) Tight hamstrings are not a disqualification. They’re a starting point.

Anything you can move in. Most students wear leggings or shorts and a fitted top. Bring layers if you tend to get cold – KōR Restore in particular slows your heart rate down.

We’ve got you covered: premium mats, yoga props, fresh towels, fully equipped changing rooms, and refreshments waiting for you. The only thing you need to bring is yourself.

For your first class, arrive 15 minutes early. We’ll show you around, get you set up, and make sure you don’t have that “I just walked into the wrong room” feeling. After that, 5 to 10 minutes is plenty. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before class starts so you have time to settle onto your mat.

We get it. Athens traffic happens. Try to arrive on time so you don’t miss the warm-up, but if you’re only a few minutes late, slip in quietly and choose a spot near the back. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, we’ll ask you to join the next class instead.

Life happens, and we understand. You can cancel any class up to 2 hours before it starts, no questions asked. If you cancel later than that, the class will be deducted from your pack. It’s not personal, it’s simply because someone else could have taken your spot.

The Space and Practical Stuff

A Few Honest Questions

No. Most KōR classes have a mix of experienced practitioners and complete first-timers. The whole point of the method is that the practice meets you where you are.

Then you don’t keep up. You rest. You sit down. You take Child’s Pose. Nobody at KōR is comparing you to anyone else, and the teachers will never single you out. The practice is yours. The pace is yours.

The only dress code is clothes you can move in. The vibe is warm, friendly, and unpretentious. We work hard, we go deep, and we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Leave your ego at the door. We left ours there too.

Drop-in classes are available, but most students find it more economical to buy a class pack or membership after their first few visits. You can view all options on our Pricing page.

Let your teacher know before class and they’ll give you safe modifications. We always recommend checking with your doctor if you’re recovering from surgery, pregnant, or managing a chronic condition. KōR is suitable for everyone, but your body always comes first.
